Institution of Agricultural Engineers
The Institution of Agricultural Engineers is the professional institution of choice for engineers, scientists, technologists and managers in the land-based sector. Catering for those employed in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, environment, amenity and food and biological systems, IAgrE has specialist groups and regional groups nationwide covering a wide range of disciplines.
IAgrE membership is international with five grades of membership from Associate (includes students) to Fellow. Non-engineers can enjoy IAgrE membership with corporate and noncorporate grades to accommodate engineers, non-engineers and companies. Corporate members of IAgrE are automatically Members of the European Society of AgriculturalmEngineers (EurAgEng).
As licensed members of the Engineering Council (UK) and the Society for the Environment, suitably qualified members are eligible for registration as Chartered and Incorporated Engineers, Engineering Technicians and Chartered Environmentalists.
