Institution of Structural Engineers
The Institution of Structural Engineers, formed in 1908, is the professional body for structural engineering. Recognised internationally for the technical and professional competence of its members, its image is one of safety, efficiency and excellence, both in its operations and in the standards of its members, its membership having now reached in excess of 22,000.
The Institution actively promotes the profession of structural engineering as an exciting, dynamic and challenging career and welcomes enquiries regarding careers in structural engineering from young people, teachers, and potential members.
